Meet the Person Behind The Enlightened Storyteller
Hi! My name is Ashlee Shefer. I’m a freelance writer, researcher, and storyteller with experience crafting branded content in health and wellness, travel, interior design, and lifestyle topics. Using my background in creative writing, I capture the essence of a brand’s personality and combine this creativity with my research and critical thinking skills to craft factual, compelling content.
I’ve produced a range of content, including blogs, articles, web pages, resource guides, newsletters, social media captions, location-based service pages, job ads, and company blurbs.
During my time working for tech, media, and marketing companies, I’ve written for numerous clients, including FHE Health, Mental Health Hotline, Caring.com, Cirque du Soleil, Zipcar, Overstock, Halo Collar, Varo Money, and a host of mental health treatment centers, interior designers, senior living communities, and entrepreneurs.
I also have bylined pieces published on AssistedLiving.org and Caring.com.
Furthermore, I’m an avid learner and enjoy extensively researching topics, especially those that are new to me. Although I can adapt to different tones and writing styles, I’m primarily interested in writing in a clear, conversational tone to make elaborate, complex information more accessible to the general public. I also enjoy writing content that helps others expand their worldviews and build more productive, fulfilling lives.
